You'll be taken on an uplifting journey through the pillars of romantic masterworks for the violin: Bloch’s Baal Shem, Brahms’ Sonata No. 3 in D minor and Ravel’s Tzigane. Joszef will be joined by the highly acclaimed pianist Edward Neeman.
Lendvay is a regular guest soloist with the Budapest Festival Orchestra and has also performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. He has received two Echo Klassik Awards: in 2005 for the album Lendvay and in 2013 for Dancing Paris. With his Soliszti Salon Orchestra, he combines classical and folkloric traditions. József Lendvay plays the Stradivari “Ex-Ries” from 1693.
